This product is a neutral pH (7.0) reagent containing 300mM TCEP-HCl, serving as a reducing agent for disulfide bonds in proteins. It can be added to SDS-PAGE samples, aiding in the reduction of disulfide linkages within proteins. In the case of nucleic acid extraction, it can also help in reducing RNase or DNase activity, facilitating the extraction of high-quality nucleic acids.
